For best results, ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free from grease before applying the sealant. Clean non-porous surfaces with methylated spirits and dry thoroughly using a clean, oil- and lint-free cloth. Any excess sealant can be removed from tools and non-porous surfaces while uncured. If applied to porous substrates, allow the sealant to partially cure before removing it by peeling, cutting, or other mechanical methods.
